If we show 25, stuff will die. We proved that again a few days after our first heroic putricide kill. Great job to everyone that participated, some of which were seeing the fight for the first time. Also special thanks to the healers of Blue Moon's past who showed up and helped out.

With that kill, it also means 25 man achievement frost wyrm time for us! Actually though, i think only 5 or 6 of us got it today, which shows how different our roster is from when we first entered ICC. But no worries to the rest of you, you can have yours after i get my off set gear from all the bosses many months from now!

Rebuilding is tough and we're getting through it like Blue Moon always does. Heroic Putrricide down thanks to a retired shaman playing his 226 geared resto druid, a few people seeing the fight for the first time, and a full raid! We'll platoon some more healers and hopefully have some new drakes in a few days. Shoutouts to everyone for showing up and executing

Recruitment is still wide open. Lookin hardest for Shamans (Ele and resto), Paladins (Ret, holy), Druids (resto), Tanks (Death Knight or Warrior) and Mages, but are still open to any good players of any class. We prefer that you have the ability to play your class and not just a spec. Check the panel on the left for class needs and to apply.

P.S. Recruitment is always kept up to date on the left. Sometimes we post specific updates in the announcements here, but we always keep openings updated on the left of the website. Please refer to that when inquiring about openings in the guild. Additionally, exceptional players (particularly those that are at or beyond our progression in terms of gear and experience) should always feel free to apply even if your particular class is closed.

LF Enhancement Shaman

We're pretty much done recruiting everything but enhancement shaman at this point. Experience with resto is required but gear (for resto) isn't important. You probably won't ever even see healing time in the 25 man raids, but we want it there just in case and potentially as a healer in 10 mans (since there is a lot of encounters in the heroic version that use both 2 and 3 healing setups it's nice to have 1 person than can swap back and forth vs 2 different people).

I just want to emphasize that this is a high priority need for our guild right now. The raid spot is there immediately and for the foreseeable future. Ideally any apps would be ready to transfer over immediately upon acceptance. Keep the apps coming!

New Recruitment Needs

We're currently looking for a shaman, DK, and possibly a hunter.

Shaman - Must be Enhancement MS with a resto off spec. Resto gear isn't incredibly important but skill is. We shouldn't feel a drop off or hindrance by having you play resto when needed (very seldom or in 10 mans).

DK - MS DPS with the ability to tank if called upon. Tanking would be primarily in 10 mans, but also as an emergency tank in 25 mans (you'd be at the 4th/5th spot) for when another tank is unavailable.

Hunter - We're listing this as low and we'll know for sure by the end of this week, but this spot will be very exclusive. We're looking for a hunter that really knows what he's doing, ~10k dps on most fights.

<center>Hey everyone. Holidays are over now, NCG is finished and school as started again for most of us (or maybe just me?). Anyway, as always the New Year brings about lots of position openings in the guild. We have quite a few apps already and we'll be going through those very soon. If you don't receive a response by Sunday at 6pm I probably just missed you so PLEASE send me a PM if you are still interested.

Furthermore, we are going to be holding a somewhat open recruitment for the New Year. This means that in light of our normal system that is built around the occasional new player being the raid, we may be accepting as many as 5-6 players within the next week or so. However, we will also be expediting the trialing process a bit which basically means our patience will be very thin as far as the "settling in" process goes. As such, we are ONLY looking for players that can have an immediate, POSITIVE impact in our raids.

With that said, keep an eye on the recruitment status to the left, but as of this post we are accepting all classes except for mage, priest, and warrior. We are also not interested in feral druids or enhancement shaman (unless as a secondary spec). Most everything else is fair game. We are especially interested in hunters and warlocks. We've already DE'd (or given to random melee) 3 Zod's because we only have 1 hunter, so send those apps in! Also, we are placing a heavy emphasis on bringing players in that can play all the specs of their class, and play them WELL. We don't want a DK that sucks at tanking, even if their DPS is off the chart, but it's not just limited to different roles. We don't want a DK that can only DPS effectively as blood either. You should be able to use all the specs and be able to switch around when fights heavily favor certain specs over others.
